Swapping the suit for a chip costume

On May the 22nd at Merewether Golf Club the annual Divas On The Green was held, organised by the wonderful and extremely patient Michelle Faithfull.

This is an amazing day where we all get dressed up, we really don’t play much golf, other then for photos, and all get high on sugar!

The day is a great fundraiser for Westpac Helicopter Service and Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation and we all end up exhausted from the food, dancing and the silliness (in a good way).

This year the theme was Australia and our team won The Best Coordinated Team Chaos Award…yay!! probably all thanks to our wonderful performing seagulls!! and our sauce bottle headbands…let me tell you those babies were hard to put together…sauce, vinegar and salt containers (thank-you The Reject Shop) , I painted inside them and then the glue gun became my friend for about a week!!

Everyone looked amazing!! from The Wiggles, Steve Irwins, Dame Edna, Snuggle Pot and Cuddle Pie to Magpies, Mr Squiggle and The Bunnings Brigade.

Looking forward to next year and hopefully no rain, the weather hasn’t been kind to us the last few years…and as you can tell I love a good dress up!!
