TREND ALERT: Brick feature walls

Feature walls can be a great way to add texture, dimension and interest to a space.

One of the custom builders on my panel has recently seen an increase in clients wanting a brick feature wall. 

Whether it be a feature wall in the living room, or a wall near the front entry door, this seems to be an emerging trend and looks great in open-plan areas.

This brick with red undertones from Austral Bricks has become very popular.

It’s from Austral’s ‘Sculptured Sands’ range. Every brick is meant to have its own character, with no brick the same in texture and shape.

In addition to being durable, a brick accent wall can add warmth and give the home an established feel whilst connecting exterior materials with the interior design scheme, creating a feature that will be sure to impress your visitors.
